The procurement documents are available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/cvpp.eviesiejipirkimai.lt\/Notice\/Details\/2022-614013\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/cvpp.eviesiejipirkimai.lt\/Notice\/Details\/2022-614013\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Central Public Procurement Portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Potential service providers to carry out seabed surveys for the wind farm connection to land may submit their bids until 1 February 2023 at 11:00 a.m. local time. The surveys will have to be carried out within 100 working days from the date of submission to the provider of the data required to carry out the surveys described in the tender specifications. This time limit includes all preparatory work, time for obtaining the necessary authorisations, evaluation of the results and preparation of a report on the results of the surveys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The seabed surveys for the engineering geological conditions of the wind farm connection to land will need to be carried out on the basis of the results of the geophysical surveys carried out in August 2022 within the boundaries of the first infrastructure corridor identified during the preparation of the engineering infrastructure development plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the required spatial planning, environmental impact assessment and other necessary studies have to be completed by the time the tenders for the construction and operation of the wind farm in the area are due in the second half of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The wind farm to be built in the area between Palanga and Klaip\u0117da, about 30 km away from the coast, will have a capacity of up to 700 MW and could produce about 2.5-3 TWh of electricity per year. This would meet almost a quarter of Lithuania's current electricity demand.
